Pictures from the Temple Mount (updated to April 2001)

In this new aerial picture (taken on the 20/4/01) it is clearly seen that the whole southeastern section of the Temple Mount has been paved and renovated. Compare this picture with previous aerial pictures taken several months ago. It is clearly seen that most of the eastern vault has been disassembled, and then paved from above. This is due to the intense protest of the CPDATM that brought the Israeli authorities to stop the Waqf work in that section.

These two pictures show the last section of eastern vault before it was partly disassembled. This vault was a northern continuation of the Solomon Stables substructure vaults, which we didn’t know about previous the Waqf’s dig. This vault was filled with many precious archaeological artifacts that were looted and are now sold in the Antiquities black market.
