Southern wall new bulge

This bulge began to appear since the beginning of the construction in the ‘sollomon stables’ substructure, but only recently it became worse and is clearly seen. The Wakf is trying to save the wall by putting cement between the ancient stones. For this a new installation with ropes was installed on top the wall.

This picture was taken on 05/09/01. A Wakf worker is seen downloading some metal bars for a scaffolding installation at the foot of the wall.
